Befitting its status as one of the city’s major crossroads, Place de la Bastille abounds in handy
transportation options. The Métro Bastille (served by three lines) and a 24-hour taxi rank are
both just outside Cour Damoye. No fewer than eight bus lines also make stops on the Place.
For instance, climb aboard the #87 and descend in front of the Eiffel Towel in about twenty
minutes. Or get to most of Paris's other important destinations by metro, bus, or taxi
conveniently—rain or shine—in even less time.
